SMS Privacy Policy

Our practice, New Vista Diagnostic, is committed to protecting your privacy. New Vista Diagnostic uses Personal Information to: contact you with appointment &/or procedure reminders, important updates or messages, provide you with the Service, process and respond to inquiries, improve the Service and if necessary.

Each message that you send through the Service, either to us or to other users of the Service, is stored on our servers. The information will be stored for no longer than the necessary length of time. The retention of said information will be determined based on the following criteria: length of time personal information remains relevant; length of time it is reasonable to keep records to demonstrate we have fulfilled our duties and obligations; any limitation on periods within which claims might be made; any retention period prescribed by law or recommended by regulators, professional bodies, or associations; existence of your consent and legitimate interest in keeping such information as stated in the Policy.

Children under age of 13 years old

The Service is not intended for children under age 13 years. New Vista Diagnostic does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 years. Children aged 13 years or older should not submit any Personal Information without the expressed permission of their parents or guardians. By using the Service, you are representing that you are at least age 18 years, or that you are at least 13 years old and have your parents’ permission to use the Service.

SMS Terms of Service

1- SMS Consent Communication:
Information or Phone Numbers obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Types of SMS Communications:
If consent has been given to receive text messages from New Vista Diagnostic, messages may be received related to the following:
Appointment reminders and details  (Day, time and address )
Follow-up messages
Example: "This is to confirm your Radiology appointment for tomorrow at 8:30am, reply YES to confirm or NO to reschedule 813-724-3310"

Message Frequency:
Message frequency may vary. You may receive up to 2 SMS messages per week regarding your appointments  status.

 Potential Fees for SMS Messaging:
Standard message and data rates may apply, depending on the carrier's pricing plan. These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally.

 Opt-In Method:
Opt-in to receive SMS messages from New vista Diagnostic can be done in the following ways:
Verbally, during a conversation
By texting us "START" or reply "Yes" 
By filling out a paper form

Opt-Out Method:
Opting out of receiving SMS messages can be done at any time by replying "STOP" to any SMS message received. Alternatively, direct contact can be made to request removal from the messaging list.
